In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

We did the 60 minute Manta Ray night snorkel and it was perfect! The team got us to the manta rays within a few minutes and we saw 3 instantly. It was the highlight of our trip! I would highly recommend to all!

Snorkeling with the manta rays was incredible. We got to see 2 mantas and they stayed by our group for a long time. Our crew was informative and knowledgeable. They did a great job instructing us on what to do and finding the mantas. I loved that they take a small group of 6 people versus the large boats we saw with way more people. My two daughters, ages 13 & 14, also came and thought it was super cool. They both were very apprehensive about it beforehand but quickly found out there was nothing to be nervous/scared about. I would totally snorkel with the manta rays again and definitely go with this company again too!

We were originally booked for the night before, but due to high waves they cancelled. We were then rebooked to the next night in the first time slot. They provide shorty wetsuits and use a zodiac from the Keauhou Bay, meaning boat time is down to a few minutes. Since we were the first group, they had to look around a bit, but the experienced boat crew (captain and in-water guide) found the mantas quickly. We saw 3-4 mantas doing flips constantly during our 45 minutes in the water. Though the visibility was low it was an amazing experience. Both the on-land and boat crew were professionally and informative.
