In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

This was amazing. We had 2 huge Manta Rays with us the whole time (Lexie and one other young Ray hung out around us the whole time)- they kept coming up and grazing the board we were hanging on to. The small group size was awesome. So many great things about this experience. Staff was very knowledgeable, and funny. They knew the rays names and answered all of the questions asked. Great job!

Seeing the Kona manta rays is something you will remember for the rest of your life. Choose Manta Ray Night Snorkel, they have a very small boat for minimal environmental impact and you hold onto a surfboard in groups of up to 6. Guides super knowledgable and keep you safe. We had an amazing night with 6 different manta rays, pretty much could see multiple at every moment. But remember, they are wild creatures and might not choose to perform every night. Book early in your trip, so that in the unlikely event they don't show you can use the manta sighting guarantee and come back another night if they have space.
