In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Great experience for all in the family. Smaller group on this boat, didn’t feel rushed or as packed in as the other tours we saw going out. Boat ride was only about 5 minutes to the spot. Guides were very informative giving lots of information about the mantas as we were in the water

It was one of the most wild and cool experiences of my life! I didn’t realize how huge the manta rays are, but they are gentle giants. It was the highlight of our trip. I would go to the big island just to do this! It was like watching National Geographic in real life. 10/10 recommend.
