In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

While there were a few other companies offering this tour, I have to say that limiting the number of participants to 6 people/outing created a more intimate setting for such a beautiful experience! All 6 of us was able to ask questions and have them addressed fast, with all that aloha feeling attached to it! you can really tell everyone on their team love every aspect of their job, have incredible respect for the ocean and its creatures! They were we EASY to work with! I definitely recommend them when you decide to go on the Manta Ray night snorkeling! They also served us delicious hot chocolate and a selection of teas afterwards :)

Absolutely amazing experience! We went out on the last snorkel of the night and had three manta rays hanging out with us. They got so close that they actually rubbed up against the back of my hand, which I was not expecting! I would give a higher rating if I could!

Our family of five had a great time on our nighttime excursion to snorkel with manta rays. The staff made it easy and we saw at least three including one 12 ft wide manta ray. They were so close — my daughter has some awesome video. The guide was excellent and informative. Highly recommend this excursion.
