In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Awesome experience, exceeded expectations! The boat ride was only a couple of minutes which worked for me since I get sea sick. There were a lot of mantas, the later at night you go the better more mantas come.

Our manta ray trip with Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours was a highlight of our time in Hawaii! I was really nervous about diving into the ocean at night, but Rachel on shore and the boat driver and dive guides put me at ease. My husband and I LOVED the trip and got some amazing GoPro footage. The company had a very small boat, but boat ride out was only about two minutes and there were only had six people so it didn't really matter. I would highly recommend this company to anyone visiting the Big Island!

Our family had a great Manta Ray experience! We were all amazed to be so close to the gentle giants. I would definitely recommend Hawai’i Island & Ocean Tours because we had a great trip and I felt like the price was reasonable.
