In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

I would definitely recommend this trip It was an awesome excursion the crew was very nice. We saw several manta rays. The only issue that we had was that they rented us a go pro so that we would be able to video the experience, they gave us a micro sd card from the excursion but when we got home and down loaded the card it said that it was corrupted so we don’t have any pictures to post

We didn't see manta rays. Unfortunately, the policy is no refunds, even if you don't see rays, so we were out $200. They did offer to reschedule us, but we were leaving Hawaii the next day.

As much as we would love to offer even a percentage of a refund when no manta rays are present, we are a family-run company that needs to observe the other providers and how they do business in these circumstances. The vast majority of companies are larger than we are and have the same policies. Again, I would love to have figured out a way to reschedule you. This was so cool! I was worried about how much swimming would be required or if the oven at night would be scary, but it’s mostly calming floating while watching the mantas glide up under you. Even cooler than I imagined!!
