In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

Very fun. Captain and guide were excellent … good length of excursion But you need to have a place for patrons to sit before hand … rock wall is not comfortable

My apologies for the limited seating arrangements, but we are not allowed to set up any chairs/tables near the boat ramps. This is an incredible, other-worldly experience! The team who took us out did a fantastic job with getting us set up, giving clear instructions, and teaching us about the Manta Rays we were seeing. This is a must-do!

Company did nice job rescheduling our trip due the awesome crazy waves the S. coast was experience to later in the week when water was calmer. Could do a better job explaining which van to look for at the dock.....there were several white ones. Manta rays were so cool and the guide in the water was super informative.
