In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

First of all, let me say the snorkeling with the mantas was amazing. When's we were in the boat and in the water we got to see lots of mantas super close, just like advertised. What wear bit good was the initial customer service. We didn't get an introduction from our greeter, she was on the phone the whole time, and no one could tell us if the snorkel masks had latex, which my daughter is allergic to. The captain was friendly, as was our guide in the water, and the experience being next to the rays was awesome. But thank goodness we were next to another your company so I knew what to expect out there, because our in land guide was mostly ignoring us.

Thanks for sharing Jennifer. I'm pleased to hear that for the most part you enjoyed the tour and that our captain and in water snorkel guide were engaing and easy to chat with. I will be happy to pass your feed back on to our check-in attendant who was working that night. Communicating, texting, and making phone calls are part of the check-in attendants job. Checking for any updates on the manifest and that all guests have signed the electronic waiver is another duty. If unnecessary time and unrelated work calls were made then I would be happy to look into this for you. The snorkel masks that we use are silicone based and latex free. Hawaii Island & Ocean Tours +18083131116 is great. Small group and small boat. Simple and straightforward. Really like it. Pleasant diver shared wonderful knowledge and we saw these 4-5 giant beauties during the dive. 30 minutes in the water was good, not too long not too short. Hot chocolate at the end was greatly appreciated. 😋

Just seeing the manta rays was an experience of a life time! We saw at least 10 rays that were circling around us. Our dive guide was so knowledgeable, being able to tell us the names of each one!
