In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

What an awesome experience! We probably saw atleast 5-6 rays, not sure if was same ones going around or different ones coming over but it was amazing, I didn't expect them to be so big! And they come right by your face and brush against you. Once in a lifetime opportunity, I wouldn't have minded doing it again! Liked that boat ride out was very short too. Knowledgeable friendly crew. Snacks provided afterwards. They offered wetsuits but we went without, (as they said if we had snorkeled that day it'd be about the same temp), prob should've as I was a bit cold. This was one of highlights of our trip, highly recommend.

Terrific experience. The tour was not crowded with only 6 people, and the crew was friendly and helpful. At first, there was only one Manta, but five gathered after about 10 min. It was even more wonderful when I was touched by a Manta when it was doing a barrel rolling near surface.
