In order to book this tour basic swimming skills & previous snorkeling experience are required. Guest's must be able to swim a short distance to our snorkel board & independently climb up a side boat ladder. Guest must be able to converse in English to understand verbal instructions & safety briefings. Not recommended for guest's who have undergone surgery or have mobility/physical restrictions. Our Manta Policy: Manta Rays are wild animals and Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours cannot guarantee their presence. If a manta ray is not seen on your night out with us you may try again on a different night, or on your next visit. Guests who purchased tickets at our full online booking price may come back out again for free. Tickets purchased through a 3rd party (such as TripAdvisor/Viator/Expedia...etc) or at a discounted rate may join again for an additional $30 per person. Please keep in mind that seats may be extremely limited during certain times of the year. We usually are very successful in finding mantas for you; however if they decide to take the night off the costs involved with setting up the charter will not allow us to offer you a refund. We appreciate your business and understanding of this policy.

It was amazing how close they swam to you. We had the privilege of watching quite a few swim around us. The night was capped off with dolphins swimming around us.

Came to the big island to surprise my husband with this experience- was told we always see at lest one. We saw none. Not mad - you can’t control wild animals. But wish they offered a discount or a reschedule to try again

The good news though is that because your booked at a discounted rate through a 3rd party you are able to come back out again for a steeply discounted offer of $30 a seat. This offer never expires and can be used on your next visit to the Big Island. I'm sorry that we were not able to get you rebooked for a different day as all of our tours were sold out. One of the most magical experiences I've ever had! I called last minute and the staff was really kind to find a spot for me. The crew I went with on the boat was amazing, such great energy making the experience even more wonderful. We saw around 10 mantarays, and they got super close. They even gave us cookies and hot chocolate!
