What To Expect
1
Kenai Fjords National Park
In Kenai Fjords National Park, over half of the landmass is covered by the enormous Harding Icefield, a thousand-foot block of ice that dates back to the last Ice Age. The Harding spills out in all directions in the form of glaciers. Some stretch northwest into rugged hills of the Kenai Peninsula. Others—five of them, to be exact—reach as far as the sea along the craggy coast of the Gulf of Alaska.
2
Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge
Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge is comprised of 2,400 islands, headlands, rocks, islets, spires and reefs and is known for its abundance of seabirds.

I took this same tour 27 years ago with my mother when visiting Alaska and still have many fond memories. All this time later, it still exceeded expectations. We saw a few Humpback whales, several sea otters, Orcas with their calf, Sea lions, Seals, glaciers, bald eagles, puffins, etc... The captain and crew were great and very helpful and informative. The lunch was acceptable and they even served warm chocolate chip cookies towards the end. They didn't do that 27 years ago! Highly recommended for all ages.

A great trip! We saw orcas, porpoises, a humpback whale, and plenty of sea lions and mountain sheep. The captain did a great job narrating and pointing out the best photo opportunities.
