If you are concerned about seasickness, please note that this tour stays in the calm, protected waters of the Inside Passage and does not go out into the open ocean; large waves and rough seas will not be encountered
Guests must be able to navigate a 9-step boarding ladder to enter the vessel. Each step is approx 6" high. Guests are seated during the entire tour
Wheelchairs, strollers and walkers are not taken on board the boat; instead they are taken at the bottom of the boarding ladder and taken to a dry, secure area during the tour and returned at the conclusion of the tour

Do not miss if you are lucky enough to go to Ketchikan. Everything was perfect. Crew was exceptional. Made trip even more memorable.

our first stop on our Alaskan cruise was in Ketchikan.... we chose to do the duck tour...…..tour the city by land and then down the ramp into the water on the amphibious boat...….really cool !!!!! our captain...…….captain larry was funny and gave a great tour...…….genieve the tour narrator was excellent...…….she was very informative and knew all the answers to questions asked of her...…….she was funny....telling jokes and taking time to talk to the passengers...……...even after we got off the tour and were walking around town when we saw the "duck" coming we waved and yelled hello genieve to her...…….and she said hey there,.then told her passengers they were on the previous tour with us...……...even though we didn't see but a few eagles...…….no other wildlife on the tour we had a lot of fun...…..looking forward to going back on the duck in 2020......it was a great tour..well worth it

Built for land and water, the duck tour is well worth the time and cost. The narrater is well versed in the area. It is easy to board. Pick up is right next to the ship.
