If you are concerned about seasickness, please note that this tour stays in the calm, protected waters of the Inside Passage and does not go out into the open ocean; large waves and rough seas will not be encountered
Guests must be able to navigate a 9-step boarding ladder to enter the vessel. Each step is approx 6" high. Guests are seated during the entire tour
Wheelchairs, strollers and walkers are not taken on board the boat; instead they are taken at the bottom of the boarding ladder and taken to a dry, secure area during the tour and returned at the conclusion of the tour

Interesting narrator Patrick and a fun and easy to see Ketchikan. Safety explanation AFTER the tour was almost too late.

This was one of the shore excursions offered by Celebrity on our cruise in Alaska.The Duckboat is independently owned/operated by Coast Guard certified personnel /licensed sea captains. The First Mate on our trip with Captain Peggy,was a very savvy 17 yo recent HS grad, Sean. A native of Ketchikan, he was very adept at keeping us informed as well as chuckling with his routine, making the tour all that much more enjoyable.We had been to Alaska before as well as Ketchikan, but we learned & saw much more with this lighthearted excursion than the previous time there.The amphibious vehicle collects/returns you right at the dock .Great for families as well.

LOVED this tour of Ketchikan with narrator Emily and Captain Jerry! We not only got a thumbnail tour of the town but it started our day off with laughter and camaraderie. This was one hilarious ride. I will recommend this as a fun option for friends!
