If you are concerned about seasickness, please note that this tour stays in the calm, protected waters of the Inside Passage and does not go out into the open ocean; large waves and rough seas will not be encountered
Guests must be able to navigate a 9-step boarding ladder to enter the vessel. Each step is approx 6" high. Guests are seated during the entire tour
Wheelchairs, strollers and walkers are not taken on board the boat; instead they are taken at the bottom of the boarding ladder and taken to a dry, secure area during the tour and returned at the conclusion of the tour

The tour was full of facts and fun. Even though it was a "typical" Alaskan day, the vehicle was covered and thick blankets were provided for us to be comfortable in the cold and damp day. Jokes and facts were well delivered from Patrick. And Capt. Jeremy was safety conscious, professional and personable.

Great way to see a lot of Ketchikan in a 90 minute land and water tour. Jerry (driver) and Jacob (narrator) were both very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgable. We had a great time onboard throughout the tour and you get to see most of Ketchikan so that if you had more time, you knew where you could go and spend it. Highly recommend if you have less than a few hours in port.

Recently on a cruise and did the Duck Boat Tour with Patrick as our guide (sorry, forget the captain’s name). It was fabulous. Patrick and the captain were so entertaining and told lots of stories of local interest. We started with a land tour of the town and it’s history and then into the harbour where we toured around and they gave us lots of great info about the area and the culture. They were quite humorous and personable. Great to walk to the tour boat/bus near the cruise boat. It was money well spent. We highly recommend this tour when in Ketchikan.
