If you are concerned about seasickness, please note that this tour stays in the calm, protected waters of the Inside Passage and does not go out into the open ocean; large waves and rough seas will not be encountered
Guests must be able to navigate a 9-step boarding ladder to enter the vessel. Each step is approx 6" high. Guests are seated during the entire tour
Wheelchairs, strollers and walkers are not taken on board the boat; instead they are taken at the bottom of the boarding ladder and taken to a dry, secure area during the tour and returned at the conclusion of the tour

We selected this as a cruise line activity, and were very happy with our choice! The narrative as we went through the town & then onto the water were very helpful. On the water, we saw numerous bald eagles at rest, seals & whales in the distance. Isaac was super informative and entertaining. The round windows that open at each row allow for great pictures.

First time going to Alaska so was just looking for a tour that would show me Ketchikan. This was it. Took us thru the town with informative narration. Took us out to where we hit the bay and they explained the different boats and what they were used for. Saw the Alaskan Enforcer which I had seen on Alaskan State Police TV program. It was slow and not a thrill ride but what did you expect? It showed me the town that allowed us to pick out the places we would go back to. The price was the same whether you booked it thru the cruise line or on line. If you can get Captain Larry he was a hoot.

was a great tour! Enjoyed young mans narration, he was very knowledgeable the short time he has been in Ketchikan. the driver did a great job showing us Ketchikan.
