The reason we took this tour was, not only to take a quick tour, but to fill up some time that we had nothing scheduled for. I read their reviews and was taken aback at how good they were, considering how cheap their prices were. Well, the day came when we took the tour and we were, pleasantly, surprised that we got more than our money's worth.
The driver and the tour operator were both very friendly. The tour operator was a young guy who had the corniest sense of humor, but we had a good time with him. Him and the driver (I cannot recall their names now) made a good team. The tour took about an hour and a half and they made sure they filled that time with lots of information and humor. They would ask Alaska trivia questions and the side of the bus that had the most points at the end would win. That little contest made the trip fun and not drag. The tour was on land and sea. We liked the sea part of it the most because the huge duck turned into a boat and we were able to ride a boat without having to rent one.
For $50 a person, you cannot go wrong with this tour. You get a land and sea tour of about an hour and a half. You learn things about Alaska that you would not, otherwise, have known or even thought to be curious about. You have a fun time AND you get to ride a boat. What more can you ask for?
