Our first time on a cruse and first time in Alaska. Of all the things our group did the Duck tour was the best. They were great at telling us about all the sights and going into the bay was wonderful. If you have the time and money and don`t take the tour you are missing so much. Bruce and his mate were great at telling about everything.

We have done Duck Tours in other countries and this one was really good and fun. Captain Rosaire and Alex were excellent hosts. It was a very rainy day, but thankfully we were under cover with lovely blankets to keep us warm. I have to say that Alex was so impressive in his knowledge and humour, and considering he was only 15, he is definitely an asset to you.

The guide we had was a local native to Alaska. He gave lots of cool information about the local stuff we saw along the tour as well as good stats and figures for Ketchikan in general. Unfortunately, the equipment was lacking. There was no working microphone, although we stopped at 2 different points along the route to have a mechanic hop on board to try to fix it, so the guide had to talk loudly for us to strain to hear. When we entered the water, the motor that drives the propellers was louder, so we couldn't all hear what he was saying about the harbor. When we were coming out of the water, the vehicle broke down and we had to disembark and wait for another duck boat to take us back. Overall, a good tour that would have been better with all the parts actually working.
