If you are concerned about seasickness, please note that this tour stays in the calm, protected waters of the Inside Passage and does not go out into the open ocean; large waves and rough seas will not be encountered
Guests must be able to navigate a 9-step boarding ladder to enter the vessel. Each step is approx 6" high. Guests are seated during the entire tour
Wheelchairs, strollers and walkers are not taken on board the boat; instead they are taken at the bottom of the boarding ladder and taken to a dry, secure area during the tour and returned at the conclusion of the tour

We did the Duck Tour on the afternoon our cruise ship was in port in Ketchikan. It was 90minutes long, but that went so quickly! We started off on land, then made our way into the water and along the coast of the Ketchikan island. Our tour guide made it unforgettable - he was so knowledgeable about the area, but made it fun and interesting - I would go back just for him!

My family and I did this tour last week and it was really good. We had captain Jim and tour guide Alex. At first we I saw Alex I was like "what is this kid going to teach me". Boy I was wrong, he was funny and very knowledgeable about his home town. I thought he was maybe 17 until we were told he is only 15!!! So cool. We got to pretty much the whole town during this tour and some bald eagles. I would recommend this tour if you are visiting for a short amount of time.

Not bad. You do see some sights. The boat only is on the water for a few minutes.
