If you are concerned about seasickness, please note that this tour stays in the calm, protected waters of the Inside Passage and does not go out into the open ocean; large waves and rough seas will not be encountered
Guests must be able to navigate a 9-step boarding ladder to enter the vessel. Each step is approx 6" high. Guests are seated during the entire tour
Wheelchairs, strollers and walkers are not taken on board the boat; instead they are taken at the bottom of the boarding ladder and taken to a dry, secure area during the tour and returned at the conclusion of the tour

Captain Peggy and Alex conducted an informative, interesting and upbeat tour of Ketchikan. All the passengers were engaged hearing about the history and current affairs of this historical town. The presentation was easy to follow, friendly and well paced.

Decided against ships shore excursion. Didn't book Duck ahead of time, but no problem getting seats when we arrived. Captain Peggy wa great, as was the tour guide...and I'm sorry I do not remember his name. Corny, duck jokes....but they did make u laugh. Overall, good tour for the cost

Gil, our guide, was quite entertaining. We enjoyed hearing all the history of the city of Ketchikan - along with some of the local folklore. We saw salmon swimming up stream, and trout jumping in the air in the bay. We had a beautiful day ant was nice to be in the bay. The excursions are all very pricey (this one was $49 a person for the 90 min tour), but we felt this was would appeal to all three of the generations on the trip. We bought it day of because we didn't want to commit to if the weather was bad. You can purchase spots on the dock by the cruise ships.
