Ketchikan may be a small place compared to many but there was plenty to see and learn about on the tour. Our guide, Gil, was excellent. Well informed and with a great sense of humour. We had often seen Duck Tours in other places but never taken one. To drive straight into the water was kind of neat even for us oldies and it was great to see the attention to the environment when they had to check for any vegetation when we came back out of the water. Well worth while.

Although it was raining (not unusual as it rains almost 200 days per year in Ketchikan) on the day we took the tour. The ducks are protected so you will stay dry and can open plexiglass windows so you can take pictures when you feel like it. The tour guide and duck driver made a good team telling you stories about the town. Would recommend it.
