If you are concerned about seasickness, please note that this tour stays in the calm, protected waters of the Inside Passage and does not go out into the open ocean; large waves and rough seas will not be encountered
Guests must be able to navigate a 9-step boarding ladder to enter the vessel. Each step is approx 6" high. Guests are seated during the entire tour
Wheelchairs, strollers and walkers are not taken on board the boat; instead they are taken at the bottom of the boarding ladder and taken to a dry, secure area during the tour and returned at the conclusion of the tour

We had seen duck boat tours offered in many cities and hadn't opted to take one. This time, we had an opportunity (timing and location) and we jumped on it. Glad we did. Cody did a great job of providing an entertaining city tour of Ketchikan. Been to Ketchikan several times and was pleased to learn so much from a native with a good sense of humor. The land portion was probably pretty straight-forward (driving on pavement!), but when we drove down the boat ramp and entered the harbor (sorry, can't remember our "pilot") we got a more creative, customized tour of interesting sites visible from the water. SUPER! We will take this you again if timing permits.

It was a great tour and we saw the highlights of Ketchikan in about90 minutes so we knew what to go back and do. We rode the Cake Box Trolley up the hill and had lunch at the top. It was a fun day

Isaac was a fun and informative especially with his history on the island. We took the tour late in the afternoon so were unable to visit all the places he pointed out. That was our mistake.
