If you are concerned about seasickness, please note that this tour stays in the calm, protected waters of the Inside Passage and does not go out into the open ocean; large waves and rough seas will not be encountered
Guests must be able to navigate a 9-step boarding ladder to enter the vessel. Each step is approx 6" high. Guests are seated during the entire tour
Wheelchairs, strollers and walkers are not taken on board the boat; instead they are taken at the bottom of the boarding ladder and taken to a dry, secure area during the tour and returned at the conclusion of the tour

We took the Ketchikan Duck Boat! It was fun and very informative of the local area. Captain D and Alex were terrific! Especially Alex. For only being a teenager, he really knows the area and attractions well! We were very impressed!

This was such a fun tour, our young tour guide, Nikita. She is a High School Student and has a 4.0 grade point average and was superior. I want to make sure she gets credit for this tour. She is articulate, great inter personal skills and really know your town. Her personality is so cheerful and loved her narrative.

The tour of the city and the water part was good. However I was disappointed. I did in the past the duck tour at Stone Mountain, GA. In that time we got a duck whistle that made the ride much fun. When we had another duck tour crossing us, all the bus was using the whistle! In Ketchikan, we were offered to buy one for $3.0. So this was a tour like in any other bus or boat... I was told that they don't give the whistle anymore because people discard it (they could collect it after use). Also, in Stone Mountain, the driver entered the water fast with music! So I recommend the Duck Tour in Stone Mountain... Not all the Duck tours are the same...
