If you are concerned about seasickness, please note that this tour stays in the calm, protected waters of the Inside Passage and does not go out into the open ocean; large waves and rough seas will not be encountered
Guests must be able to navigate a 9-step boarding ladder to enter the vessel. Each step is approx 6" high. Guests are seated during the entire tour
Wheelchairs, strollers and walkers are not taken on board the boat; instead they are taken at the bottom of the boarding ladder and taken to a dry, secure area during the tour and returned at the conclusion of the tour

We had a Group of 11 people from 8 to 70 and ended up on Captain D and Alex boat. With lots of jokes and great history/culture of the place...Alex answered questions and kept all ages entertained. The changing of bus to boat was interesting and fun. This tour was good for all ages and all weather with warm blankets for the ones that needed a little extra warmth...like me. If you are looking at knowing more about the area and seeing a teen such as Alex work hard at showing you his town.. then this is the trip for you.

I went on the Ketchikan Duck Tour on my stop in Ketchikan from my Alaska Cruise and I feel it was the best and most affordable way to learn about Ketchikan. We were even lucky enough to spot a Humpback whale. Our captain was great enough to get us closer for a better view while staying safely away for the Whale's safety. It was beautiful! We saw several bald eagles up close and the boat ride was fun. The young speaker on our bus ride was very funny, sweet and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend!
