If you are concerned about seasickness, please note that this tour stays in the calm, protected waters of the Inside Passage and does not go out into the open ocean; large waves and rough seas will not be encountered
Guests must be able to navigate a 9-step boarding ladder to enter the vessel. Each step is approx 6" high. Guests are seated during the entire tour
Wheelchairs, strollers and walkers are not taken on board the boat; instead they are taken at the bottom of the boarding ladder and taken to a dry, secure area during the tour and returned at the conclusion of the tour

We did the tour as part of an excursion through our cruise ship. The driver and guide were both really entertaining, and it's a great way to get a short but informative tour of the town. The only downside was that it was really warm to the point of being uncomfortable. The weather was mild, the duck was full of people, and only a few windows were open. It was very stuffy, and by the end they had opened more windows which helped a little. Oddly, my parents had done this tour twice before and said it was always freezing, so they think they must have recently added the roof and sides.

The Duck tour was a perfect way for my wife and i to see and learn about Ketchikan. The 90 minutes flew by because the driver and guide shared historic significant information and personal tidbits with humor. We then had plenty of time to check out some of the highlights we was on the tour in person. Well done!
