If you are concerned about seasickness, please note that this tour stays in the calm, protected waters of the Inside Passage and does not go out into the open ocean; large waves and rough seas will not be encountered
Guests must be able to navigate a 9-step boarding ladder to enter the vessel. Each step is approx 6" high. Guests are seated during the entire tour
Wheelchairs, strollers and walkers are not taken on board the boat; instead they are taken at the bottom of the boarding ladder and taken to a dry, secure area during the tour and returned at the conclusion of the tour

Yes, it was a cold rainy day but the vehicle had a top and plexiglass sides with portholes. They even had blankets on each bench seat for us. The captain/driver and the tour guide were great and very knowledgable. They explained everything we saw and pointed out eagles for us all along the way. Explained the local culture, salmon spawning (I didn't know the salmon died after they spawned!) and shared many of their personal experiences with us. Definitely recommend this tour!

Our cruise ship had a couple of hours stop in Ketchikan. We thought the duck tour would be a good way to explore the town and we were not disappointed. Our tour guide was informative and the captain kept an eye out for whales and eagles that we could pics of.

Captain Peggy and Isaac were lots of fun! Issac our tour guide was born and raised in Ketchikan and shared so much about the town and its history. Peggy, our driver was also great - she also shared lots of stories and both made the short excision memorable and worth while.
