Loved this side excursion! It was a little rainy and cool, which I think enhanced the experience! Our guides, Donny and Doran, were fun and knowledgeable and provided us with interesting information as we paddled along. When we reached the other side of the lake we were greeted with a warm campfire, rain protection, hot coffee and cocoa and some delicious treats (baguette with crab spread or native berry preserves, as well as a delicious and hearty clam chowder). All of this goodness was prepared for us by "Chef" Parker. After warming up and filling up we then went on a short rainforest nature walk were we learned more about the local flora and fauna, before paddling back to our point of origin. We really enjoyed it all! Thank you Donny, Doran and Parker!

This was a fun excursion despite the rainy day. Rain gear was provided. Guide Christian was very knowledgeable and did a great job. Delicious chowder by Danny Cook at covered camp headquarters. Nice nature walk under rainforest cover.
