The tour agency is unprofessional and lacks organization. The trip was lacklauster in terms of experience. Our tour guide, Brook, was great.

Our trip leader was Ellie she was very enthusiastic and informative. Even though it rained while we canoed the experience was fun and the snack the supplied with hot chocolate warmed us up. I recommend bringing a rain jacket, dressing in layers and wear waterproof clothes.

Beautiful scenery with snow-capped mountains surrounding the lake and rainforest. We really enjoyed the canoe trip around the lake. Ellie was a knowledgeable and friendly guide. The stop for coffee, snacks and chowder cooked over an open fire right before the walk on the nature trail was a great touch. Got to talk to Ellie and other guides about the wildlife in the area. The trail was interesting, picturesque and circled back to the base camp where we canoed back to the starting point. Bus had us back in Ketchikan with plenty of time to shop, grab a drink and see some sights before boarding the cruise ship. Overall a cool way to experience nature in Alaska.
