What To Expect

Southeast Exposure Outdoor Adventure Center

Your adventure starts with a van ride to the north end of Ketchikan to beautiful Clover Pass. You will be welcomed and led down to our waterfront facility and introduced to your tandem kayak and get a safety briefing from your guide.

Tongass National Forest

You'll quickly gain confidence as you paddle to Eagle Island. The protected waters of Clover Pass provide us with the opportunity to really enjoy the tranquil setting of the Tongass National Forest.

My daughter & I enjoyed the kayaking part of this excursion. The guides were wonderful, very organized and thorough. We felt it was a little lacking in what we were able to see. Perhaps it was the time, we went on the early excursion. We had quite a bit of rain, but we did manage to enjoy the experience. I would recommend this adventure as the views were very impressive-especially the eagle watching.

Loved this tour! Went with my wife and three children. Enjoyed the transfer from the cruise ship to the departure point. Bus driver was a local and gave us a history tour on the way. Very interesting. Took a short, but fun, zodiac boat ride to the launch site for the kayaks. The tour guides were fantastic (Riley and unfortunately cannot remember the other guy and girl). So very peaceful and beautiful were we kayaked. Highly recommend.
