We never kayaked before we are both over 55, we had a blast, felt the freedom of the lake. There was just our guide the wonderful Gabi, she is very knowledgeable and talented, quickly giving us the confidence to get going. We kayaked for 2 & 1/2 hours no problem, going around a couple of islands, seeing seals, sea lions, eagles flying and nesting and starfish. It was a great experience and we highly recommend it

Do not expect to see much wildlife outside if starfish, some seals and a bald eagle. This is not the place for whales. It is a lake to kayak. We were grateful for great weather and enjoyed our time in the water because it was such a beautiful day. Shorted on our time in the water and excursion which was disappointing. Also, wasted over 40 minutes getting to pick up location, only to then have backtrack past our cruise ship port to get to excursion. The advertise picking up at your port, but with NCL, it’s a different port, thankfully we left our ship early to allow for time to get to pick up spot. Recommend verifying where pick up is. So you don’t waste valuable time driving in van.

Booked excursion through Princess. Wonderful experience with Mallory and Ali who keep us safe and we’re fabulous guides showing us and explaining.
