it was a rough day on the seas, but these thing happen. Our tour group went on the Sundiver out to the Grecian Rocks reef - the water was choppy but we still had a good time in the water. The crew (especially Matt) was very friendly and helpful.

First time ever snorkeling on April 5th, 2010. So glad that we choose this snorkeling tour over others in the area! They were so helpful in answering questions since we were inexperienced. Very kid and family friendly. Took us to a beautiful reef. They had great discounts and were reasonably priced. We loved it so much, we wanted to go back and snorkel again right away!

Took my wife and 2 boys (13 and 10) snorkeling from Key Largo. After reading MANY reviews and looking at tour websites, chose Sundiver. Very helpful & friendly staff -- over the phone and on the boat. I definitely agree with other reviewers who recommend getting the wet suit option if the water temp is below 78 F. My 10 yr old was cold in the water after about 30 min - even with the wet suit. It may have been a little too big for him. My wife and I were comfortable in the wet suits. I also agree with other reviewers who said to call ahead about sea conditions and if the seas are more than 2 feet, don't bother going out unless you are experienced and have great sea legs. We went out on the calmest day of the week but it was still a little choppy at the reef with winds around 10 mph. Our 13 yr old was queasy by the time we got in the water and he only lasted about 5 minutes before getting seasick and spending the rest of the time on the boat with other passengers who weren't feeling well. We saw a very nice variety of coral & fish at White Banks Dry Rocks Reef and the highlight was probably when my 10 yr old and I saw a large barracuda just a few feet from us! We did a 5:30 pm trip and while the sunset return was BEAUTIFUL and we didn't have to worry about getting sunburned, visibility in the water is probably better in the middle of the day. I would definitely recommend Sundiver to anyone planning a similar trip from Key Largo. They have discount coupons at their web site: www.snorkelingisfun.com
