This was our second time going out with Sebago. The first time was in 2007 when our sons were quite small. This time we returned with grown sons and other family members. It was Thanksgiving weekend so the tour was crowded. The weather was perfect. The crew went over safety and snorkeling instructions thoroughly. Snorkeling is at the Key West reef which is seven miles off the coast of Key West ( 1 hour trip out). Since you are out in the middle of the ocean there is definitely some wave motion. My family and I are experienced snorkelers so we had no problem jumping off the side of the boat and heading to the reef. My sister on the other hand watched some people go down the ladder , fight the waves and feel out of their element and return to the boat. This made my sister totally opt out of snorkeling.( She still had a great time) My ten year old nephew on the other hand did just fine. That being said everyone will have a difference experience. Visibility was great. Sea life was abundant. Lots of different fish- parrot fish, striped yellow fish, angel fish, blue tang, a barracuda and I even saw a small bonnet head shark. The tour's length gives you about an hour in the water which is more than enough time.Crew was great We would do this tour again in a heart beat
