Everything started really great! Captain Stephanie and crew were efficient getting everyone on board, doing safety checks, and then out to sea.
The crew were energetic and friendly, and made you want to interact with them.
Getting into the water was a bit hectic. There seemed to be lots of confusion amongst the guests. Lots of first timers it seemed, who should have been held back while the more experienced people should have been told to go first.
The reed was average at best. Perhaps it was the area we were in, but there were hardly any corals. We did see fish, so that was great, but for being the "3rd largest barrier reef in the world", my standards were higher then what was presented. We have snorkeled many places, and it was really nothing special.
Heading back to Key West, the bar opened. While we expecting a cash bar as the website said, we were disappointed when only beer and wine (and soft drinks) were served. It was just disappointing when you expect one thing and get another.
We have a second tour planned while we are here, so hopefully things are as advertised.
All things said, it was a beautiful day on the water, and given the opportunity, would do it again, I would just set my expectations a bit lower.
