Overview

Along with your experienced guide you will paddle at a relaxing pace and explore the shallow, calm, blue-green waters of the back country of Key West. You will glide through the winding mangrove creeks and paddle through inches of water, where you can easily view and learn about the geological structure of the Keys along with its inhabitants, all from the comfort of your kayak. Your adventure will give you a chance to view the mangrove environment up close, along with its marine life including tropical fish, crabs, sea stars, jellyfish, sea cucumbers, sponges and various aquatic birds. Every trip leads us on a different adventure!

A very enjoyable 2 hours of easy paddling through the waters around and in the mangroves. Our tour guide Bethany was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the eco systems, and did a great job of leading the group. We even paddled around manatees, over some nurse sharks (not dangerous), spotted various wildlife above and below the water. It was interesting and fun. Highly recommended.

Heather travel guide was the best! She pick up marie life with passion and care. Highly educational. Amazing fun! and so relaxing all at same time! Actually entire people worked where all had smiles! All seem to love what they were doing! Im sorry i don't remember all of your names…. Maybe name tag! Just know u all rock!

We took our third eco tour with Lazy Dog; this time Bethany was our guide. As always, the tour was wonderful, with a nice mix of education and relaxation. This time we were lucky enough to see manatees and nurse sharks. Lazy Dog has never disappointed us.
