My husband and I took the Sunset sail during our April trip to Key West. It was worth every minute and every penny! The excursion included wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres. I wasn't expecting much but I was wrong. The shrimp, cheese & crackers, veggies & dip were free flowing and abundant. There were several beer and wine choices and it flowed freely, I had plenty of my favorite Muscato. The boat itself was beautiful and classic. Large sails that the crew raised and managed with expertise. We sailed so far out and faster than the other boats. The captain offered anyone interested the opportunity to take the helm and steer the boat. I jumped at the chance and loved every powerful minute, he let us all take it for a long time. Our captain (wish I could remember his name) was knowledgeable and experienced. He pointed out points of interest along the way and was informative and fun. There isn't a bad seat on the boat so don't worry about being the first in line or to board. This was the highlight of our trip. would definitely do it again. We are from Massachusetts and this was our first trip to Key West

This is sailing!! While other vessels remained near the harbor, The America 2 set full sail and almost reached the Sandy Key lighthouse 7 miles away. Strong winds made for 8 to 10 knot speed. At times, the side rail was close to the water as the boat heeled over. A very exciting ride. Crew was fantastic. Food included rounds of fruit, cheeses and shrimp. This was our second trip on the America and we will sail it again whenever it is in port.

We had to luck to have a good 15 to 20 knot wind, and the boat soared with full sails. It made for a bit of "uphill" beverage and food service, but this crew knows their business, and deftly served both with finesse. Food, beer and wine were good quality, and the sailing experience was exceptional! This is a modern boat, able to be handled with a small crew, and even offered guests the chance to lay their hands on the wheel and steer for a few minutes. We're locals and this is the boat we will recommend after this.
