If you visit Oahu, head out and hike up KoKo Head trail on a clear, sunny day. It’s NOT easy, but the view from the top is awesome.

This hike is not easy. If you go be nice to the people around you. Move to the side to let people pass. The beginning is not too steep it get steeper after the bridge. Yes you will encounter a slight bridge I could only look down at my footing and that was the worst part for me as I could see how I could fall if I slip or miss the wood plant but you can take the alternate path along the side. Look for it I was told about it after I crossed the bridge. I think that was one of the challenges for me to cross a bridge with a slight drop. See my photos. The views are incredible, bring water and rest whenever you need to. There are really 1049 steps, it is like lunges and don’t worry everyone else new at this is huffing and puffing. They say people can do this in 5 minutes on you tube videos. 20 minutes for the average person. Not sure what is average but we did it in 55 minutes. We do cardio about 4-5 times a week for a hour. With some weight training 1 times a week. Maybe we'll get better if we did it more often. Wearing good shoes with traction is best. When you get up there make sure you go all the way up to top.
