Overview

Lahaina Turtle Town a.k.a. Mala Wharf is our first choice snorkel destination. In 1992 powerful hurricane Iniki destroyed the Mala pier. The remaining posts from the pier have created an artificial reef and sanctuary where corals and other marine life thrive. While snorkeling at Mala Wharf, you’re likely to spot Moorish Idols, Green Sea Turtles, and Saddleback Wrasse.

If the snorkel conditions are not ideal at Lahaina Turtle Town the Captain will choose from one of the other premier westside snorkel locations that include Honolua Bay, Airport Beach, and Launiupoko. All of these locations offer excellent opportunity to view the beloved Hawaiian green sea turtles, many varieties of brightly colored tropical fish, and beautiful coral reef formations.

During whale season we frequently observe Humpback whales as they enjoy the warm Hawaiian waters! This tour segment will include expert narration and provide a "play-by-play" commentary of the whale behaviors as you view them.

It was a blustery evening but Quicksilver took us to a couple of places near by that were beautiful and calm. It was one of their first attempts at an evening run. The day was perfect with the best snorkeling - from turtles to barracudas, we saw it all. The captain educated us throughout the ride and kept us safe. Would do it again in heartbeat. The crew was amazing.

Very cool! Saw lots of different types of fish, saw lots of sea turtles, the reef was beautiful, saw sea urchins. Literally was very impressed! The water was so clear, and we could not get over at how much diversity and how many things we saw. Definitely worth it! The staff was very professional, helpful, and friendly. Highly recommend if you are wondering which one to book.

I can’t express how much fun this trip was! What an amazing crew, so personable, knowledgeable and FUN! Jameson was one of the lifeguards who made sure everyone was safe, Nicole the first mate always made sure we had anything we needed, Guy was genuinely one of the nicest people we’ve met on this trip and was quick to check in on us. Heather is an experienced Captain and made sure we knew lots of historical and interesting facts along the ways and of course guided us on our adventure with expertise. I will book again next time and truly wish we had done another tour with this company. The snorkel equipment was in great condition and we saw so much at our location!
