What To Expect

Emerald Bay State Park

The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park

Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

What a fun day. Took some great shots. Victor took us to places we would have never found by ourselves. This tour is great for people with little point and shoot cameras (like me) and those with cameras with all the fancy bells and whistles. Its a little pricey, but don't let that discourage you. You will not be disappointed.

This was a really great tour. It was our first time in Lake Tahoe. We were able to see Tahoe from places we would have never found on our own. Truly a beautiful place. Victor our tour guide did an excellent job. The pictures Keith sent us afterwards are really special. Great time!

Keith, his wife and their team are great hosts to an exciting photo tour around Lake Tahoe. They are all very passionate about what they do and what they show you. Keith has a wealth of experience and is eager to share, allowing you to improve your own photography. My wife and I had the great opportunity to participate in a extended half day tour with a small group. We were taken to just the right spots at just the right time of day to bring back some memorable shots from our stay at Lake Tahoe. You also get enough time to set things up and your composition and settings right. Something I have often missed on similar tours. Additionally Keith and his team will take professional pictures of you, adding that shot to your memories that you can share with the folks at home. Definitively a wonderful experience you should not miss out on.
