What To Expect
1
Emerald Bay State Park
The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park
Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

I booked this for a surprise birthday present for my wife and while it wasn't what I expected, it was even better. Perhaps I misread the description, but I expected a boat tour on the lake where we could take our own photos. So, when it snowed 4" the night before and was fairly cold, I expected this tour to be cancelled. What I got instead was a professional photographer, Griffin, who drove us around the lake in a nice Toyota Sequoia while showing us the most beautiful spots I have ever seen. No exaggeration, we are on a year long honeymoon touring the nation for beautiful spots and this tour tops our list. Not only did Griffin take photos all day that we got to keep, but he also taught us how to better use our camera - which will help us capture other beautiful spots for the rest of our lives. I am blown away, not just at the beauty of this area, but at Griffin's ability to capture it on film. If you use your phone camera for pictures and are impressed with them - then you will be in awe of the pictures a professional can achieve with their equipment and artistic ability. I don't write many reviews, but when we saw these pictures I felt compelled to share my experience with those of you on the fence about this tour. Chris Greenlee.

This was a 5 star tour. Our guide Garrett was great. He was very accommodating and knowledgeable of the Tahoe Area. He was an expert driver for the narrow roads we took. The beauty of Tahoe is like no other place. I am a native Californian and have been to Tahoe for 50 years and have not seen all there is to see. I saw sights on this tour I have never seen.
This was time well spent and I will remember the tour for a long time.

Very nice day and a great way to see sites we never would have found ourselves during our stay in S. Lake Tahoe. Victor was very courteous and offered some good photography tips. He also shared information about the area which enriched the experience.
