Emerald Bay State Park
The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoeā€™s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park
Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

We arrived at Lake Tahoe for a short stay and wished to see and photograph the beautiful lake and countryside. Our guide and driver helped us to enjoy the best scenic spots and get lovely keepsake photographs with us in the pictures so that we will have lovely memories. Joan

I booked the most incredible two half day experience, a personalized tour with Keith and Robin Pierce of Tahoe Photograpic Tours. Not only was the reservation process flawless from start to finish down to reserving a one night hotel stay at the Heavely Inn, but the tour was AMAZING! There is NO way I could of got the pictures I came home with if it wasn't for Keith and Robin picking me up and taking me to the most gorgeous spots in Lake Tahoe. Traveling solo, I could NOT of found some of these locations on my own! Keith was very professional, so knowledgeable and a wonderful teacher who was very patient when it came to helping me with my camera settings and setting up shots around the lake. This by far was the BEST and affordably priced photography tour of all my travels. No matter which guide you go with, they pick you up, provide snacks and soft drinks and all you have to do is sit back and be camera ready. Keith offers his extensive knowledge and expertise to all levels of photographers. I look forward to returning the Fall foliage in October. If you are even a novice photographer DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS TOUR WHEN IN LAKE TAHOE! You and your friends and family of all ages will come home with memories and pictures that will last a lifetime!

My husband and I took this photo tour last week during our trip to Lake Tahoe. We went on our first full day in Tahoe and it was perfect timing. Our guide Mike took us around to all of the best sites in the area for full day tour. He was incredibly knowledgeable, was able to answer every ridiculous question we had about all of the natural flora and fauna of the area, he was wonderfully friendly and personable, and really provided us with the best tour we could have asked for. The owners were very polite and attentive and ensured that we had a perfect trip. We received Mike's photos merely days after the tour, so we were very impressed with the timeliness of the turnaround, and we loved all of the pictures. It was great to have someone take all of the quintessential photos of us, since we never have that opportunity, and Mike knew where all of the best shots were. The car in which we toured the area was clean and roomy, and the tour guide Mike was very attentive to all personal needs (such as bathroom breaks and a lunch stop), so everything with the tour was very comfortable.
