Emerald Bay State Park
The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoeā€™s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park
Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

Keith Price was under the weather when we took the tour, but we had a great guide and someone that was training along for the ride so we got double the photos for the one price. It was awesome. They were both locals and love Lake Tahoe and were more than happy to tell us what we needed to check out while we were in town and they loved our newborn little girl and kept trying to work in the best photos of her possible. The sights were amazing and the DVD with all the gorgeous photos of our new family arrived in the mail within a couple weeks of us returning home. I was hesitiant to spend the money on this, but we were so happy with the results that we will certainly take the tour the next time we're in Lake Tahoe.

We almost didn't make it into Tahoe because it had unexpectedly started to snow but made it over the summit without incident. The first snow of the season. Our guide, Bob, took us to some of the most beautiful places we had ever seen. We particular liked being shown locations that were more private and exclusive. Places were we could come back and explore more on our own. I have been coming to Tahoe for years and didn't even know these places existed. Well worth the price of admission, I would suggest this tour and our tour guide, Bob, without hesitation.

My wife and I took our first trip to Lake Tahoe and Tahoe Photo Tours made it very memorable. Craig was our guide for the day. Not only did he take great pictures but he is very knowledgeable of the area. Our dream was to see a bear in the wild and the day of our tour they weren't cooperating. Craig let us know of a creek where they frequent and the next day my wife and I went there and we saw a black bear. Lake Tahoe is very relaxing. Another thing we took out of the tour was a quote which I'm trying to live by, " Why worry, it takes up too much space".
