What To Expect
1
Emerald Bay State Park
The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoeā€™s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park
Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

This is our second year in Lake Tahoe, and our second time with Tahoe Photo Tours. What makes TPT so distinctive is 1) all the guides are exceptional photographers, and 2) they know and love the area of Lake Tahoe. You do not have the feeling that they are out doing a job, but rather you sense that you are fortunate to be in the company of someone who understands nature and values everything about it. After a day out with the guides, you are then given a CD of the professional photographs that they have taken. Photos of the off the beaten path places you have visited, and photos of you and your friends in the natural settings. To have a professional photographer take you around places in Lake Tahoe that you most likely would never find on your own, and then present you with a CD of over 100 high quality photos of your trip is an unforgetable experience. The day out with the guide and tour is definitely worth the price of the tour, but to also get the photos they have taken is a bargain. I travel a lot and have been on many tours. Usually at the end of a tour, if youā€™re lucky enough to have had a photographer on the tour, they will offer you photos for an additional $50 - $100. Here the CDs are included. We have our Christmas Card photo. I give Tahoe Photographic Tours a perfect 10. Craig from San Diego

100 % recommendable. Our guide, Mike (there are 6 or 7 guys working with Keith) did an awesome job. He was like spending a day with some friends, telling and showing us everything he knows about Lake Tahoe. He was very patient explaining me everything as many times as I needed to understand (since I am from Spain and I cannot speak English quite good). He took wonderfull photos and help us taking also very nice ones with our cameras. He did his best for getting our best smile all the time. It was like visiting Lake Tahoe with a friend who shows you the best and takes amazing photos of you and the landscapes you are seeing. DONĀ“T MISS THIS TOUR!! It was just great!!

My wife and I went on a guided tour with Keith Price while we were in Tahoe. I have been coming to Tahoe for the last 43 years and I haven't seen most of the things Keith showed us. The awesome vistas, lake shots, river and mountain views that he took us to were just unbelievable! I highly recommend that anyone visiting Tahoe consider going on one of his tours! I guarantee you won't be disappointed!
