Emerald Bay State Park
The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoeā€™s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park
Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

Keith was our host for the photographic tour last Feb. This was our second trip to Lake Tahoe, and we enjoyed touring the lake again with a local. The next day Keith dropped off our CD at our hotel along with a matted 8x10 picture from our tour. He was great~ Thanks Keith for all the great pictures, and all the advise about cameras. We'll be contacting you when we are back in town for a snowmobile tour.

We took a one week trip to Northern California and this tour was DEFINITELY the BEST we've had! The scenery of Lake Tahoe is BEAUTIFUL but what made it even better was the fact that you will forever have the memories thru the BREATHTAKING pictures that your tour guide/s will take for you professionally! It's easy to take tours for granted...not this one. We had the luxury of having Bob as the main tour guide and photographer. We were also lucky to have Bill as the 2nd tour guide and assistant photographer. Bob and Bill complemented each other really well....Bob was the comedian and Bill was the philosopher...can't get any better than that!!! Bill quoted Mark Twain a couple of times.."breath the air that angels breath"....while driving around Lake Tahoe with a cool breeze. Bob had funny stories that kept us entertained, which made the tour more engaging! I definitely recommend this tour for all seasons!!! All the pictures were very clear and definitely good for printing them in huge sizes! Also, we asked for a simple but special favor from the owners of the business, which was to find us some picture magnets of lake tahoe. We got so engaged driving around and taking more pictures ourselves after the tour ended that we forgot all about it! They shipped it to us along with the pictures! They didn't have to do it because it's not in the scope of the tour but they did! That's WORLD-CLASS SERVICE...VERY CLASSY!!! Definitely the kind of real people you want to be with! SO YES YOU HAVE TO TAKE THIS TOUR BECAUSE THE TOTAL INTRINSIC AND LONG TERM VALUE IS DEFINITELY WAY MORE THAN THE AMOUNT YOU PAY FOR THE TOUR!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT FOR WINTER PICTURES!!!! Thank you very much TAHOE PHOTOGRAPHIC TOURS!!!

Robin took us on a group tour (11 people) and every single one of us loved it. We went to places we would have never encountered on our own. Both of our guides were very friendly and made sure we made the most of our time in Tahoe. Also, the pictures were great and arrived to our home in less than one week. I would definitely recommend Tahoe Photographic Tours!
