What To Expect

Emerald Bay State Park

The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park

Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

I was in Tahoe for the 100 mile bike ride my family was doing. So I went out for the day with Jim while they rode. I suppose I could have driven around myself but I didn’t know the great spots and parking is a challenge! I’m a professional photographer but I always seek out photo tours not only for the locations but to continue learning... I thoroughly enjoyed the day and learned some new tricks I’ll try out! . Super reasonably priced too!

This was my 2nd tour with this company. I went my first time maybe 10-12 years ago with the most amazing photos, some hang in our home! And this second time, I brought my husband and our 3 young children, ages 4, 7, and 9. We had an amazing time and have such beautiful photos to prove it!! If you’re ever in the Lake Tahoe area, this is a MUST do tour! Hands down!

Several years ago My husband and I took an adventure with Robin Price that was our introduction to the wonders of Lake Tahoe. Since he passed away this year I wanted to revisit the area with a good friend. Keith picked us up at the hotel and drove us to a number of beautiful spots. The area is so gorgeous everyone thought it was a backdrop! You have to feel the wind in your hair to really experience Lake Tahoe. The tour was marvelous. Highly recommend. Hope to do this again this fall. Cannot even imagine the area in autumn - heaven on earth.
