Emerald Bay State Park
The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoeā€™s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park
Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

The Lake Tahoe area is a spectacular area for photography and taking a tour with a someone knowledgeable about the various locations that are sometimes off the beaten path or who can help you maximize your time is indispensable. Keith Price provides just such a service. The day we went out the weather was perfect - calm in the early morning and just enough clouds later in the day to bring some interest to the sky. Keith is extremely outgoing and shares a wealth of information about Tahoe and the surrounding area. His tours are structured to the desires of the people on the tour (for instance we skipped lunch at our request in order to visit more places and do more photography). He suggests camera settings and composition for those needs such assistance. Even if you are not really into photography (perhaps you are a dedicated phone photographer) and just want to see areas you might not find on your own, going out with Keith will be worth your time.

We had so much fun on our tour. Jim went far and above during our tour. We learned so much about the history of Lake Tahoe, the fascinating history of Tahoe Tessie and great photography tips. The views were breath taking. Jim took us to all the perfect spots to get the best photos and we did not have to compete with all the other tourists. This is tour is for every level of photographer. I would highly recommend it. A great big thanks to Jim for a perfect day.
