What To Expect

Emerald Bay State Park

The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park

Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

Keith and Robin were extremely helpful and flexible. They were passionate about their job and showed us incredible views of Lake Tahoe that we couldn't have visited on our own. I would definitely take another tour in fall ! Thanks a lot Keith and Robin for showing us the essence of Lake Tahoe.

Decided to take this tour as a break from skiing. Wonderful decision! Keith and Robin offer a unique experience for any type of photographer. From those with semi-professional cameras to those with a simple digital camera. No one is left out. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the beautiful nature of Lake Tahoe and take photos in an unhurried fashion. Keith offers his expert advice in trying to capture the perfect shot as well as take pictures of you and your group. Robin was a wonderful host with her friendly demeanor and knowledge of the area. Great combination of tour guides. We are grateful Robin and Keith could accommodate us last minute. We met as strangers and parted as friends.

This was an awesome adventure! If you're thinking about do it - DON'T THINK - JUST DO! Robin, Keith and Joey were great, friendly, knowledgeable, and there for you! The views were spectacular. Joey, our guide, was giving us information during our drive about the lakes, the town and the history of the area. Joey took us to places we wouldn’t have access – or known about - as a “tourist”. The views were magnificent and the pictures are just as good (can’t wait to get them developed!) I want to send a big "THANK YOU" to for such a wonderful experience. We’ll be back to capture the fall colors!
