What To Expect

Emerald Bay State Park

The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park

Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

What a great day and great experience with Keith! I make my living as a fashion photographer so when my friends booked this I wasn't sure what to expect and was worried it was going to be like a work day on vacation. I could not have been more wrong. Keith is an amazing photographer! He is also one of the kindest most genuine people i have ever met. He loves giving these tours so much. He was so excited to show us breathtaking location after location. Its hard to explain what a great experience it was. Just book a photo tour through Keith and Robin and you will have an amazing time and make new friends. Keith + Robin... Thank you for an amazing day!!!

This was hands down the best experience ever. Keith took my family and I all around Lake Tahoe. He was so knowledable about the history of Lake Tahoe, shared many great stories with us, took us to beautiful spots tourists would never find on their own, and took incredible pictures along the way. We will definitely return to Tahoe and take this tour with Keith again!! This is a MUST if you are visiting!!

In a word: Excellent! My wife and two daughters totally enjoyed a full day tour of Lake Tahoe and surrounding area with Keith. This was the best day out of the five days we spent in the Lake Tahoe area. Keith is a longtime resident of South Lake Tahoe and knows where the special spots are for photography and exploring. I highly recommend this photographic tour. We will be back and will be calling on Keith again.
