Emerald Bay State Park
The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park
Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary in Lake Tahoe. We almost canceled our photo tour b/c of all the CA wildfires, but so glad we stayed the course. Take my advice, if you're staying any length of time, book this tour your 1st full day (at least a 1/2 day). We only did 1/2, but could easily see the attraction of whole day/around entire lake. Keith, the owner and professional wildlife photographer, picked us up in his super clean Tundra chariot (literally polishing the bumper as we walk up). I have re-considered my normal do-it-yourself mentality after my wife booked this trip. The local navigation knowledge, history, pros/cons of each trail/overlook/best time of day, best vantage points, best spot to park, passion, and love for the outdoors is contagious (did I mention he's a professional photographer?). The skills acquired served us well for the next 2-3 days as we explored other parts of the lake. Exceptional job, Keith- thank you! "The mountains are calling and I must go" J Muir

Hello Tahoe Photographic Tours guest. Thank you so very much for taking the time to submit such a detailed review. We appreciate you mentioning how clean and spotless the vehicle was. Each and every guest will start off their tour in a spotless vehicle. In a snowstorm that can be a challenge. It was our pleasure to share the amazing history and diversity that lake Tahoe has to offer. We utilize the time while traveling to each location to talk about the unique history of that location. It was a great day and our pleasure to show you the real Lake Tahoe. Thank you again and we look forward to your next visit.

Just wanted to say what a pleasure it was taking the tour on 8/9/18. Our tour guide did everything in his power to satisfy everyone on the tour. It was not only fun but educational about the area. And he even took our pictures which was an added bonus that I totally wasn't expecting. Thank You for sharing them too.... Unfortunately, the photo has a little haze due to the fires that were in the distance but nonetheless Lake Tahoe didn't disappoint and neither did our guide.

Our guide Rosie is knowledgeable of the areas to NOT miss and her talent for photography met our expectations and the time she spent with us was sufficient. We would like to extend our warmest thanks to Rosie for the wonderful stories. We just hope the cover photo would have been one of the sites we had seenšŸ¤”.
