What To Expect

Emerald Bay State Park

The Ultimate Half Day Tour departs at 7:00 am, and focuses on the best of Tahoe’s South and West Shore areas. Our journey begins at a beautiful secluded Tahoe beach, shadowed by spectacular Mt.Tallac. Across the river is an Eagle sanctuary, and you will be able to view and photograph different species of local birds, and possibly even a bear. As the mountains and lakes beckon, our adventures continues to back country lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Above the falls, another high country lake awaits our arrival. Climbing 2,000 feet above Tahoe to a high country ridgeline, gives you amazing views. Continuing to one of the most photographed locations in North America, Emerald Bay. Tahoe Photo Tours will take you to special locations to avoid the crowds.

Sugar Pine State Park

Sugar Pine Point State Park contains one of the finest remaining natural areas on Lake Tahoe. With nearly two miles of lake frontage, the park has dense forests of pine, fir, aspen and juniper. Constructed in 1903, the property is one of the finest examples of a by-gone era of summer retreats found along the shores of Lake Tahoe. With crystal clear waters and up to 24 inch pine cones this is a must see location.

A friend and I use the Tahoe photographic tours to see Tahoe the way it is meant to be seen. We arranged for an early-morning meet with the photographer/guide and he took us to the perfect destinations around Lake Tahoe to get the pictures that we truly wanted to have. We shot photographs of nature,of land formations, and of the lake itself and it was just a magnificent day. He was knowledgeable about the area, helped us frame our photographs for the best visual effect and he shot photos as well which included us in them. Courteous and polite, he was tentative to our needs for rest stops and refreshments. I highly recommend the experience to anyone who lives to take pictures or just have a great nature tour!

when best quality people are also top quality professionals you could have a perfect tour. We saw the best places in and around Lake Tahoe, PLUS the bonus of a beautiful bear mom with her two grown up cubs. With Keith being such a dedicated guide AND a great wildlife photographer our tour was longer and BETTER than our highest expectations.

As an aspiring photographer, Keith Price was an amazing instructor and very personable to learn from! We spent the day driving around the Lake and Keith knew the best scenic shots from roaring waterfalls, greenery hills, snowy mountaintops to the crystal blue water on the beach shores! Highly recommend folks to sign up for this tour -- whether it be site-seeing Lake Tahoe or learning how to camera shoot on scenic routes. Keith and Robin are very easily to set appointments with and are very accommodating to your visit and stay. Thanks again Keith/Robin!
