Lamar Valley Safari Hiking Tour with Lunch

Overview
Yellowstone Hiking Guides safely leads hiking groups into the Lamar Valley on a wildlife viewing day hike tour.

Our guides are experts and fun is a top priority. Regularly, we spot wolves and other rare wildlife from the trail in the backcountry of Yellowstone.

Most tour providers in Yellowstone spend the majority of the day on the road, or very close to the road. Our tours are off the beaten path.

Frequently our guests tell us that a tour with us is the best part of their vacation to Yellowstone.

Looking for wildlife such as wolves, bears, elk, deer, and antelope. We also saw many Buffalo, fish, and birds.

Emily was pleasant. We saw bison & pronghorn but no bears. Good food. We were given a local number by the operator on booking but there is no response from that number. It is hard to contact them for any questions before the hike.

If you only do one thing in Yellowstone go on this hike!!! The views are spectacular! The guides, Emily/Josh are some of the warmest people Iā€™ve ever met. They have so much enthusiasm and love for their job that itā€™s impossible not to enjoy this trip. They take you along a path that the typical hiker doesnā€™t traverse. They also have a keen eye for spotting all sorts of animals. I would not have seen them had I taken this hike myself. We had lunch at a picturesque spot on the side of the Lamar river-gorgeous!
