Has learning to surf been your dream? It’s a good one to have, and the calm waters of La Jolla Shores is the best spot to learn! Our experienced instructors are eager to share their passion for surfing with beginners and intermediates alike - no experience necessary, all equipment provided.

Our instructors respect each student’s choice regarding his or her level of participation in the lesson, and comfort in the water. You’ll have fun learning how to surf in a safe environment!

What's Included

All participants get an Everyday California Rash Guard, and surfboard for 90 minute lesson. Guest may keep the equipment for an additional hour after lesson is over to continue surfing.

Really great time learning to surf. Thank you so much for being such a great guide for Kate— she got up on the first try and seems like she’s Caught the bug. So much fun and really great instructors!!

Kaiden was an awesome instructor and great with my 12 and 14 year olds! They were very organized but it didn’t seem to make sense to come back to the shop after the lesson to get our free hour of board rentals.

Kids had a great time. The third time they have surfed and the first in California. Nate was a great with the group of 5 participants. The walk to the beach was quite a distance from the check in spot so plan for that or driving down if you need to. Parking is challenging in the area so plan plenty of time.
